EVALUATION CONFERENCE ON PRACTICE-BASED Research IN ART & DESIGN, english (for german version see below)
Artistic Research and Practice-Based Design Research represent two fields of discourse that offer numerous approaches within their thematic orientation. The conference leaders made it their mission to highlight methodology and its specific characteristics compared to science, and to discuss ways of translating Artistic Research into other disciplines.
The aim is a concretion regarding the content of the Ph.D. graduate program Art and Design / Fine Arts / Media Arts, as well as a demarcation to research priorities of other high school sites with an emphasis on Artistic Research and / or Practice-Based Design Research.
As a stakeholder, speaker or participant, you have contributed significantly to the success of this conference and to a differentiation of the fields of discourse. Therefore it is very important for us to hear your feedback, on both the content and the methodological orientation of the conference, as well as the quality of discourse and organizational aspects. We are grateful for your ideas, suggestions for improvement and your position on the discourse. We hope this will inspire a continuation of the discourse and help us recognize potential challenges. This blog also aims to provide a potential forum for networking on a national and international level. Below we have collated a catalogue of questions that you might want to use flexibly as an inspiration to reflect on the conference.
